Event Description
Cockburn Libraries are celebrating their golden jubilee, 50 years of serving the community!
It all began 50 years ago when Spearwood Library opened its doors on 23 March 1976. Since then, the Cockburn Library service has grown from one public library at Spearwood to three branches with Coolbellup opening in January 1990 and Success in March 2000 at Gateway Shopping City, before moving to the purpose-built library in 2014.
Come along to a special Birthday-themed Storytime at Coolbellup library. Your storyteller will share fantastic picture books, stories, songs and rhymes. Parents, grandparents and carers are all welcome. Sessions involve a craft activity and adults are essential to this part of the session.
Plus free goodie bags for kids aged 5 and under and a sausage sizzle for families.
