Celebrate Science Week with us at Cockburn Libraries as we are joined by special guests Eco Action who will teach us all about life cycles.

Living things change as they grow - Butterflies, Beetles, Dragonflies, Frogs and many others experience dramatic transformations. Big trees grow from tiny seed. Birds start their life as an egg. Baby mammals look different to their parents and they need to learn and grow to reach adult stage.
In the Life Cycle hands-on workshop, children will be introduced to various aquatic and land invertebrates (dragonflies, butterflies, caterpillars, beetles and more) and amphibians in various stages of their life cycle. 

Imagine, invent & innovate with fun and challenging hands-on activities.
STEAM Club gives kids the chance to get creative and test out their inventiveness while engaging with other children in the community.

STEAM encompasses science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics and our sessions will cover each of these areas throughout the year with opportunities to cook, create, invent and compete.

Parents or carers must remain in the library during the event and are encouraged to join with their children to learn and make discoveries together.
