Learn to make Japanese rice ball known as Onigiri with Japanese artist amd food creator Nami Osaki.
Nami is a Perth based artist form Nami's Art Room and one of her signature styles is food art.
Onigiri, sometimes called Omusubi, is the most iconic food in the Japanese lunchbox or bento.
You can find different types of Onigiri in Japanese convenience stores as as grab and go snack.
In this workshop Nami will show you how to make it in a fun and easy way, including how to cook steamed rice to perfection!
You will also learn how to make Japanese pickles (Tsukemono) as a side dish to eat with your onigiri.
Please bring your own tea towel and plate.
