Her Body is a Story: A Poetic conversation

Women's bodies have long been considered as public spaces where expressions of their femininity are often scrutinised and policed. 

Join poets Bron Bateman and Lisa Collyer as they speak to the triumphs and tribulations of women's bodies in both private and public spaces. 

Bron is a queer poet, editor, playwright and educator who has four published poetry collections including Blue Wren (2022) and Love Like This Isn't Harmless ( 2025)

Lisa is the author of two poetry collections, How to Order Eggs Sunny Side Up ( 2023), the latest is Gold Digger (2025)

Both have poems in the anthology Women of a Certain Courage recently published by Fremantle Press, edited by Bron.
